Our sister crop land!
Ives Farm is a living legacy and Steeped in history! This cherished land was once farmed by Betty Ives, a beloved local figure who began her own farming journey in 1967 after the passing of her husband, Eddie. With determination and heart, Betty became known for her sweet corn and strawberries—and for her fierce devotion to the land. Ahead of her time, Betty made the visionary decision to donate the farm to the Cheshire Land Trust, ensuring it would remain a working farm for generations to come.

Ives Farm is in a new chapter of its growing story, this beautiful farmland—protected by the Cheshire Land Trust, and the state of Connecticut—is now under the stewardship of River Ridge Farm. We're honored to farm this land using regenerative, low- and no-till practices that rebuild the soil and grow nourishing organic food.
